The large cave to the west of this small town is its second biggest attraction. Its biggest attraction is the fact that this is where you get your first pokémon. Choose wisely between a Wawa, Berzoldi, or an Asegra.

| Route 1
Your first route leads east of Tearin. Made of simple dirt and a few flowers, it contains a large pond to its north and a forest to its south where you can catch some weak pokémon. Route 1 isn't even very long as well. Perfect for starting trainers.

| Beachree City
Beachree contains a Pokémon Contest Building but no gym. The trainers here are mainly bug catchers and are easy picking. Its Pokémon Center is fairly small but stands out in all the wooden buildings with its more modern structure.

| Route 2
Leading north-west from Beachree, Route 2 is very foggy, misty, smoky, smoggy, steamy... you get the point. The gravel pathway is cut by a river which is small enough to cross by the stepping stones but leads to a thick, cool forest. The forest is called Chimiharu Forest.

| Hiko City
The first gym of Makinoshan is here. Hiko City is fairly small but it's Day Care is one of the best. The Day Care is located near the exit of the town and is quite large for this small place. The city itself is made mostly of buildings and the usual.

| Orator Crater
Orator crater is where a large meteorite fell from outer space. It is large but appears to never hold any water. The rain which falls onto it... dries up on contact. Human feet, though, feel cool dirt. It is a very large tourist attraction because of this and the space pokémon you can find.

| Route 3
North-east you can find Route 3 which run along the Gulf of Flivol. The gulf is so named because you can find the mother load of Flivol here and quite a few expensive items in the shells along the coast. But be careful, the Star Shards here are very sharp!

| Caliente Village
Caliente Village is located in a ring of mountains giving it a humid feel. Lucky, it sells lots of different expensive fans ranging from small battery powered fans to over sized masquerade fans. The pokémon center has GREAT air conditioner, though!

| Route 4
A path made of cooled magma; this is the best place for catching fire pokémon. It is covered in volcanic ash and has a glass making shop which makes many luxuries, but you need a Soot Sack first which you can buy at Caliente. To the north it leads.

| Volcano Gastian
The LARGEST volcano in Makinoshan, Gastian is known for the time it erupted and brought darkness to most of the west side of this region. Be careful, for fire pokémon inhabit this place, and most of them bring the heat back to, " If you can't beat the heat, stay out of the sun!"

| Route 5˝
This route is the route on the right side of Volcano Gastian. Because Volcano Gastian is in the way for Route 5, the rocky route has split into two routes. This route is where you can find a hot water spring but normally weak fire pokémon.

| Route 5˝
This route is to the left of Gastian. The volcano sits on top of this half route so you might just need to climb three meters over the rock. It holds many natural disasters like rocks slides and small boulder avalanches, so if you want to rest, go to the OTHER Route 5.

| Route 6
Route 6 contains many hot water geysers which are horribly painful. It's a bit cooler here and this route leads towards Tibio Town... but you got to pass through Calor Tavern. We suggest you catch a pokémon which knows dig and flash here.

| Calor Tavern
Calor Tavern is a mixture of hot and cold. In some caves you'll find it cool where in others, it will be humid. The pokémon in here are a perfect mixture of icy types and fire types. But it is also very dark and the tunnels twist and turn, becoming more complex with every glance.

| Route 7
Finally a normal temperature route! Route 7 has an orphanage in it, not that you would care to check on the abandoned children. Rumor has it that you can see a grey cloaked figure with a grey coloured cubone running after her. Also contains the Forsaken Graveyard.

| Timend City
The contest hall in Timend City is abandoned but cannot be torn down to make a new one due to the sightings of a woman. It's very haunting. Timend City has the port which you can get a boat straight to Rikkers Town or buy a Dive HM. It's your choice.

The boards placed under 'Sea Ring' are cities and features that are located in the ring of water that surrounds a LARGE canyon that is said to protect the city in it.

| Route 8
Of course, this is a very watery route... well, it IS the first route in the Sea Ring, so it's ENTIRELY water! Few rocks dot the deep blue, and you might see some pokémon swimming by. You'll need a flying or swimming pokémon here!

| Sichtat Town
A small island town after route 8, Sichtat Town contains the next gym. The place is surrounded by many water pokémon and they say that when the mist comes in, you can see many rare Serpentaid and Serpentan playing at the haunting beaches.

| Route 9
A route that is unforgiving, it has many whirlpools, jagged rocks, strong currents, and everything you find that's rough in the sea! I suggest you fly over this one, but using Dive is even better because you can find large schools of Wawa and other rare water pokémon!!

| Farolck City
This city is a gambler’s place, somewhere you can go to clubs and everything! Also, another gym is here, but this gym is covered by vines so you're going to have to work to find it! Because of the hydro electric sources, it's also always bright and pretty rich!

| Route 10
This Route is completely random. You might be swimming around or you might just be drowning in a whirlpool! Beware travelers; many have lost their lives here, even the most experienced travelers and trainers with the strongest pokémon...

| Island Plateau
A plateau in the middle of the Sea Ring? Yes, it’s possible. Oddly, this plateau appears to be hollow and very cold. Yes, very cold. They say that Island Plateau is connected to the big rock in Route 14... guess you’re going to check it out for yourself.

| Route 11
The water is cold and no one dares go into the water, even if the exclusive Makinoshan Mer lives there. If you really want one you’ll need a fishing rod and some patience. Or you can just dive into the cold water and not need to buy a fish rod.

| Jumanir City
This place is on the shore and slightly cold. A cave is here where you can find many ice type pokémon. Careful, there's a gym hidden in the cave. The icicles are over-sized and might fall on you and there are huge obstacles around here.

South of the sea, the water begins to freeze when you reach land. The ground is covered in deep snow, deeper in some places than others. I hope you brought your coat!

| Tsereve Mountain Range
The Tsereve Mountain Range is a group of high mountains which are bunched just before Froid Town. You must cross this chain of mountains to get to the town and anywhere closer to the League! Make sure you have good fire pokémon and lots of food... this will take at least two days!

| Froid Town
This time, a town with no gym, it contains a contest hall and some mountains to add up the scene. Still cold here, but colder than Jumanir! The port leads straight into Victory Waters so NO boats ever come or go.

| Victory Waters
A very deadly path, it leads north from Froid and onto a LARGE island with a LARGE canyon in it on it. Tidal waves, whirlpools, strong currents, fog... hey, this is mainly the first part of Makinoshan's 'Victory Road', what would you expect?

| Victory Canyon
Somehow this piece of land is LARGE and carries a GIANT canyon on it. The canyon is called Victory Canyon due to it being the next 'Victory Road' of Makinoshan. The pokémon here are terrifyingly strong and the ground is very thin. Pools of cold water and underground mountains... all in one canyon.

| Elemental-Isle
So, how hard was it to get to this point? Pretty hard, huh? Well, you journey's going to come to an end, cause the League Tower's smack down in the middle of Elemental-Isle! Make sure you're prepared... for madness, excitement, and more madness.

| Route 13
Still slightly cold, but it feels more like autumn than winter. A pokémon race is held here as much as they can do it and some villages are in this rather large route. The snow is rather high as well and slush appears on the ground where there's no snow.

| Scarlet City
This city has yet ANOTHER contest hall. Is everything bunched up or what? Also, a museum of many things is located here along with a port that leads to Teal City. The buildings are a copper brown and Scarlet Town had the BEST park, with a gazebo!

| Route 14
A route that leads north, it sends you back into the water right for Teal City. Many pokémon lurk this area, maybe because of the large rock jutting from the sea....? Ah well, not like it's actually a hollow stone where water pokémon go into and store their treasures, right?

| Teal City
Contest Hall, Gym, everything... but a Pokémon Center?! How odd. This place is highly toxic having many power plants. It's rich but not much people come here!!! Pokémon such as slugma and muk live here and few trainers really stop to do any 'sight-seeing'.

| Route 15
The water here is nice and warm whilst the sun shines bright in the skies. It is home to many tropical water pokémon so bring some pokéballs. Corsola, luvdisc... and whatever. How beautiful to look down at the world's largest coral reef, the Cappuccino Coral Reef.

| Inanis Island
A long-deserted island to the east of the large crater. Covered in sand, with a few empty huts in the center. Well, they would be empty, except you can find Pokemon nesting in them.

An extremely warm route, the water leads to Acater City, the place that holds some more features. Warning, tidal waves and strong ocean breezes accompanied with lots of water skiing and surfing and the best beach EVER.
